Five hundred thirty six of date August 6, 1984, of the First Vice-President of the National Bank of Cuba, published in the Official Gazette Ordinary No. 55 of date August 29, 1984, ratify the sale as a result of which, to the start of operations of the first working day of January  1984, they proceeded to integrate the Bank Popular of saving: The agencies of population (perform on Subsidiaries), the same ones Boxes of saving linked to them, the Provincial Directions of saving (perform on Directions Territorial, Provincial and of the Special Municipality Island of the young), and the offices of the central level (present-day Head Office).
