The Council of the Municipal Administration has the Essential Objective of satisfying, among others, the needs of the economy, health, healthcare, education, culture, sports and recreation of the community of the territory to which its jurisdiction extends, as well as executing the relative tasks to prevention and social care. The law determines the organization, structure and operation of the Municipal Administration. The Administration Council is appointed by the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, to which it is subordinated and accountable, its composition, integration and functions are established in the Law. The Municipal Administration Council is chaired by the Mayor, has Collegiate character, performs executive-administrative functions and directs the Municipal Administration.

It has been proposed to incorporate the following actions into the work system:

Systematize the participation of CAM Chairs and officials in Boards of Directors where the issue is analyzed, inviting the Presidents of Popular Councils, the Permanent Work Commissions of the Assembly, as well as Directors who are not members of CAM. Perform control and inspection by the Assembly Committees on a quarterly basis. Require that each Director organize a system that allows control and monitoring of the approaches to the base. Analysis of the topic in a meeting with the Presidents of Popular Councils and Directors quarterly.
