He took the original way of the shield of the Town Council of Jíquimas of Bemba used during cologne.

The present-day symbol has 11cm of height and 8cm in width.

On the top of the shield it finds the image of an one belonging to the wineglasses brought of Italy at the beginning of the XXth century and that it is a part of the installation where the Town Council to 1959 became established. Some of them at present survive in the border of the roof of the same installation converted in school of primary education that takes Paquito González about name.
